Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Candidates must have been born between August 2, 2000, and August 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive).
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years
- Civilian Central Government Servant: 5 years
- Jammu & Kashmir Domiciled Candidates: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen Commissioned Officers: 5 years
Educational Qualification UPSC CAPF AC Recruitment 2025
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
- Candidates who are awaiting their final year results can apply; however, their selection will be provisional until they submit valid proof of passing the graduation exam.
- Technical and professional degrees from recognized institutions are also eligible.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Medical Standards
Candidates must meet certain medical requirements, including:
- Eyesight:
- Distant Vision: 6/6 or 6/9 (better eye) & 6/12 or 6/9 (worse eye)
- Near Vision: N9 (better eye) & N6 (worse eye)
- Limits of Refractive Errors Permitted: -4.00 D Myopia, +4.00 D Hypermetropia
- Teeth: Sufficient number of healthy teeth and no severe pyorrhea.
- Ear: No hearing loss, ear discharge, or any obstructive conditions.
- Chronic Skin Disorders: Candidates with severe conditions like leprosy, chronic dermatitis, psoriasis, etc., will be disqualified.
- Other Health Standards: Candidates must not have any spinal issues, enlarged lymph nodes, thyroid disorders, or sexually transmitted infections.
