Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following academic requirements:
- Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects.
- Must possess a Diploma in X-Ray Technician Course or a Bachelor’s degree in Radiological Imaging Technology from an institution recognized by the Union, Bihar, or other State Governments. BTSC X Ray Technician Vacancy 2025
Age Limit (as of 1st August 2024)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age:
- Unreserved (Male): 37 years
- Unreserved (Female) and Backward Classes: 40 years
- Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes: 42 years
Application Fee
- General/BC/EBC/EWS: ₹600
- SC/ST (Bihar residents): ₹150
- Female candidates (Bihar residents): ₹150
- Candidates from other states: ₹600

Selection Process
The selection process will be based on:
- Written Examination
- The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions related to X-Ray Technician subjects, with a total of 75 marks.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Work Experience Evaluation
- Additional marks will be given for work experience in government hospitals and institutions.
